Find your paint code
Where is the paint code on my car?
Most of the time, we can find your exact car paint match by using your registration. This is the quickest and easiest way to order your car paint.
Occasionally, our database can’t find the car paint code information and you’ll have to tell us what it is, so we can match it exactly.
What does a paint code look like?

Other places you can find your paint code
You’ll also be able to find your paint code or colour name in your vehicle’s handbook or paperwork.
Failing that, you can contact your main dealer using your registration or VIN (vehicle identification number).
Use the exact colour name
For some vehicles, we can match your paint off colour name - with Fords, for example, we can find all colours by name including:
- Frozen White
- Sparkling Silver
- Race Red
Please note, that it has to be the exact manufacturer's colour name, not just the DVLA registered (the DVLA only registers if it’s blue or silver and so on).
