- Clean and dry your car bodywork so it’s free of dust and debris.
- Shake your Vauxhall touch-up paint pen to ensure the paint is properly mixed.
- Squeeze the paint pen over the scratch so it covers it.
- After applying the first paint layer, wait 10-25 minutes for the paint to dry. Depending on the damage, you may need to apply more than one coat.
- After you’ve applied the final paint coat, leave it for 24 hours so the paint hardens.

How to use the Vauxhall touch-up bottle and brush?
With 50ml of paint, there’s enough paint for multiple minor damage repairs like scratches, scuffs and chips. To repair minor damage with your Vauxhall touch-up bottle and brush, follow the steps below:
- Check the repair area for roughness with your hand, then smooth it with sandpaper if needed. You can apply primer or rust at this stage if metal or rust is showing.
Shake the Vauxhall touch-up bottle for 2-3 minutes, ensuring the paint is properly mixed.
Brush a small amount of paint onto a surface that isn’t your Vauxhall and check you’re happy with the colour.
Carefully apply the paint to the damaged surface and wait 10-25 minutes for it to dry.
After the first paint layer, assess the repair and determine if you need additional paint coats.
Leave the final paint coat to dry and harden for 1 hour.
Finish the repair by blending it in with lacquer or a polishing compound like PaintNuts Scratch and Scuff Remover.
