Clement Talbot was an English-French car manufacturer founded in 1903. It changed hands a couple of times and eventually all production ceased in 1958. However, Peugeot revived the Talbot marque between 1978 and 1994.

Talbot paint code location
Classic car paint codes can be found in 1 or 2 of these common locations, though they are usually situated towards the front of the car:
- Under the boot lid
- On the door jamb or frame
- In the door hinge
- Under the bonnet
- On the firewall
- In the glove box
- In the spare wheel well

Talbot classic paint names
Talbot classic car paint is the same as some other classic brand paint colours. This means the codes can be either a Talbot code, an ICI or PPG equivalent, or the original make code (e.g. Porsche or Lotus).
The paint code is typically printed on a metal plate (the size of a wallet) or a sticker. It’s a combination of a letter and the format can vary widely:
