As Jeremy Clarkson rightly demonstrated, colour is way down the list of ‘must-haves’ when you’re buying a tractor. (Shame he didn’t research features and specifications more diligently but we’re not judging, it makes good TV!)

What colour is Jeremy Clarkson's Lamborghini tractor?
It’s probably the most famous tractor in the world right now but, despite it’s hulking size, its paint colour doesn’t make as bold a statement as other popular tractor choices.
Clarkson’s Lamborghini Trattori R8 270 DCR has 40 forward gears and 40 reverse gears. At 9.45 tonnes, it still boasts 260hp.
Regular viewers of Clarkson’s Farm will be familiar with his trials and tribulations with this vehicle. He chose it for its size and power - it’s got presence, there’s no doubting that! In fact, arguably, it’s over-powered and over-sized for his 1,000-acre Cotswolds farm.
On the other hand, its paintwork is a respectable, conservative, understated metallic silver - a far cry from the bold colours of other popular tractor brands.
